I am trying to find meaning in my life. I am trying to be happy. This web page is a product of that. There is so much to see in the world, that I am trying to push hurt and anxiety away from myself to leave room for the hopefulness of those things. What makes you happy? What unburdens you and de-stresses your life?
This has been one of the most trying times of my life. I go in and out of losing the will to move on, to carry forward. But last night I had a dream that I wanted to live in these brand new apartments that were just built in Coney Island. No such apartments were built, but in my dream they were floor to ceiling windows and you had a view of the ocean and beach below and that feeling of the beach and summer was so prevalent in the dream, it reminded me of happiness. I am hoping that reminder becomes reality. Please share your stories with me and maybe we can help one another. What are you going through? How do you deal with it?
Sometimes things seem hopeless. There seems to be no way to make it in the world in this day and age. The celebrity culture turns people over at an alarming rate. How can we make it in a world that is now spinning faster than ever and with an attention span shorter than ever? I am trying to figure this out as I go too. I am hoping to break the vicious cycle. Remember to stay at your dreams and believe in yourself. The universe will conspire to help you. The possibility of what you want in life will help you get through the days until you actually achieve it.
Today is National Peanut Butter Day! Who knew? A truly American holiday! Nothing can make me happy like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich! Do you like them as much as I do? What is your favorite? Creamy or crunchy?
In my part of the world (New York City) we had a lovely little snowfall that started Friday night and went on through to Saturday evening. If you’ve never seen New York in the winter, you should! It can be extremely beautiful. It is also my brother’s birthday today, so the snow seems extra special. I wanted to share that happiness with everyone and hope it reaches you all.
Please be grateful for the gifts and blessings you have been given in life. It is so very cold out there and we should always remember that “There, but for the grace of God, go I”. Any little bit can help those in need. Even a dollar given to the right charity or donating your old coats and winter clothes to a local house of worship or your preferred charitable organization.
For now, enjoy these two photos, please! From my family to yours! Send me some of your favorite winter shots! Do you have a favorite thing about winter? What is it?
